More… The RNA Advocacy petition is a method by which citizens and neighborhood groups can request the RNA to advocate a particular issue on their behalf before City Council. Those desiring RNA assistance with a particular issue in their neighborhood should request the RNA to advocate their issue in one of three ways: 1) in person during a regularly scheduled meeting, 2) through a RNA representative, or 3) by completing an Advocacy Petition form. Advocacy Petitions submitted by a neighborhood organization must be accompanied by a copy of the Meeting Minutes taken at the neighborhood organization’s meeting where the issue was discussed and RNA advocacy sought. The petitioner also should have a representative designated to attend the RNA meeting to answer questions regarding the petition, but not to give a presentation.Less…
