FREE Initial RRP Training classes available!

EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firms certified by EPA, use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers, and follow lead-safe work practices. 

Lead Safe Roanoke provides skills RRP training as part of their HUD Lead Hazard Control Grant to train the public on how to deal with lead-based paint properly in order to prevent lead poisonings. 

There are classes available on January 10th OR 11th. Classes get filled up quickly, so let us know if you are interested in attending.

(1 hr for lunch on your own) 

This class is offered by a Lead Safe Roanoke grant and is free of charge to you. Our goal is to help kids stay safe from lead poisoning and educate the public on lead safe work practices.
