Roanoke's Website User Access Update
You are receiving this e-mail because you have a user account registered on the City of Roanoke's website. We'd like to quickly let you know that our website's login portal will be updated this weekend.
What this means for you:
1. When you log in to www.roanokeva.gov after Sunday, Nov. 19, you will be asked to enter your email address instead of your username.
2. To meet PCI compliance guidelines, Roanoke's website administrators will no longer have access to reset your password. Users will have access to do this through the new login portal. Once a user account is set up, website administrators will also be unable to modify username or email address information in Roanoke's CivicPlus platform.
3. If you haven't logged in to the site within the last 18 months, your user information may not be migrated to the new platform. If this happens, you will see an error message pop up. If you need assistance with account migration, please contact Whitney in the Office of Citizen Engagement.
New password criteria:
After you attempt to log in, you may receive an email from [email protected] This is not spam! This email will include instructions that will help you reset your password to make sure it meets new security standards.
