Message from the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts
Jan. 28, 2021
Good morning:
Thank you for signing up on the Roanoke City and Alleghany Health District (RCAHD) website to express interest in COVID-19 vaccine opportunities for individuals aged 75 and older. If you have already been able to schedule a vaccine appointment, please disregard this email.
If you would like to schedule an appointment this Saturday, please see below.
Vaccine Clinic for those aged 75+ on Saturday, January 30:
*Registration Required*
Click this link OR this link to sign up for an appointment.
Space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
Given high demand, we expect these appointments will fill quickly.
This clinic is hosted in partnership with Carilion Clinic. If you need assistance registering through the online portal, call 866-604-2873, option 1.
Note: Insurance information and payment are not required to complete registration. The vaccine is available free of charge.
Additional clinics will continue to be announced as more doses arrive in the area next week. There are thousands in our area seeking vaccine, and we are doing our best to notify eligible citizens with appointments for our extremely limited supply. We believe that the current shortages are temporary. When doses increase, possibly later in the spring, we are prepared to implement a more full-scale vaccination plan.
Sincerely,
Kristin Adkins,
Population Health Manager,
Roanoke City & Alleghany Health Districts
