The next scheduled meeting of the stakeholders of Melrose-Orange Target Area (MOTA) will be held on Monday, March 11, at 6 p.m. at Goodwill Industries of the Valleys on Melrose Avenue. The primary focus of this meeting will be a discussion of how to incorporate the concept of Interwoven Equity into the city's Comprehensive Plan, which is being developed over the next several months.
Following a round of initial public meetings and a survey that was completed last fall, the city has been working with groups of citizens to help draft policies for the Comprehensive Plan. The city is seeking additional opportunities for the public to weigh-in on these issues that are important to the development of policies for the Comprehensive Plan.
