[ARCHIVED] Update: Power Restored in Downtown Roanoke

Update (11:30 a.m.)

Power has been restored in the downtown area, including the Municipal Building and the Main Library Branch downtown, and all city services are operational.


Original Notification:

The Noel C. Taylor Municipal Building has been impacted by a power outage in the downtown district this morning, Monday, Nov. 26. As a result, city services to citizens are not available in the City Treasurer's Office, Commissioner of the Revenue Office, Court Services Unit, and  Permit Center, as well as other offices in the building. The Main Library is closed and will remain closed until power is restored. At this time, the city is awaiting updates from Appalachian Power about when power will be restored.
