Residents, businesses, and property owners are encouraged to attend the next meeting of the stakeholders of the Melrose-Orange Target Area on Monday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m., at the Goodwill campus on Melrose Avenue NW., and provide feedback on the information that will be shared.
The agenda will include monthly updates from housing partners; a presentation from Susan Jennings, the city's Arts and Culture Coordinator, to share information and invite feedback regarding the public art to be designed and created for the new Melrose Branch Library; a presentation by students from the Virginia Tech Spatial Practice Lab about the final design concepts for housing types; and a discussion led by Cheri Hartman and Jackie Bledsoe of the Roanoke Kiwanis Club regarding plans for the construction of a community playground to serve MOTA and NW Roanoke.
Stakeholder meetings are held bi-monthly.
