The Parks and Recreation Department announces that all activities planned for the Roanoke River Greenway this weekend have been canceled. Below is a comprehensive list of all park, trail, and greenway closures until further notice:
- Carvins Cove (all trails)
- Roanoke River Greenway
- Tinker Creek Greenway
- Murray Run Greenway
- Smith Park
- Wasena Park
- River’s Edge South
- River’s Edge South Tennis Courts
The Transportation Division reports the following street closures:
- Yellow Mountain Road is closed at Welcome Valley
- Wiley Drive is closed between Franklin Road and Crystal Spring Avenue
