The city’s first Clean Sweep neighborhood cleanup will be held on Saturday, July 14, in the Melrose-Rugby and Melrose-Loudon neighborhoods. The cleanup will begin at 8 a.m. and end at Noon. Residents in those neighborhoods will be asked to place all clutter, unwanted brush, and unlimited bulk items to the curb for collection.
The city is also seeking volunteers to help clean litter and debris from streets, parks, and alleys for this neighborhood cleanup. Volunteers will be invited to a cookout at Eureka Park after the event, between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Register to volunteer by clicking this link.
