Roanoke, VA - A Winter Storm Warning is in effect in the Roanoke region tonight through tomorrow morning. Valley Metro buses will operate on a Snow Route Schedule starting tomorrow morning.
A Winter Storm Warning means that significant amounts of snow, sleet, and ice could make travel hazardous or impossible. Please call 511 for the latest road conditions. If snow accumulates on streets, the City will aim to clear 95% of the snow from major streets and Valley Metro bus routes within 24 hours after snowfall ends. Next, crews will aim to clear 90% of neighborhood streets within the following 24 hours.
