Roanoke, VA - The City of Roanoke, County of Roanoke, County of Botetourt, and City of Salem offices of Economic Development, in collaboration with sponsors Freedom First Credit Union, Roanoke Valley SHRM, WDBJ7 and Workforce Unlimited, will hold the 2018 Spring Career and Lifestyle Fair on Tuesday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Berglund Center Special Events, located at 710 Williamson Rd. in Roanoke. This event is designed for those seeking jobs, educational experiences, and leisure-time opportunities.
Roanoke County Director of Economic Development, Jill Loope states, “The Spring Career and Lifestyle Fair provides a value-added resource for employers to connect employers to job seekers. With today’s focus on talent attraction and retention it is important to create opportunities to grow the talent in our area and connect them to local resources.”
The event is free for attendees, and exhibitor space is complementary for qualifying businesses located in the City of Roanoke, Roanoke County, Botetourt County, and the City of Salem.
