ROANOKE, VA – On Saturday, January 13 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Appalachian Power (AEP) crews will close the westbound lane on Salem Avenue between Wall and Jefferson Street. This work is required to replace the electrical equipment for AEP. Area Wide Protection (AWP) will be setting up the work zone and providing flagging as required to control traffic flow in the area. There will be no parking on the south side of Salem Avenue.
Eastbound traffic on Salem Avenue will be detoured onto Jefferson Street.
Signs & Barricades: AWP will furnish all barricades, signs, cones, etc.
