ROANOKE, VA – The following streets will be closed on Friday, September 1, through Sunday, September 3, due to various events in Downtown Roanoke.
“First and 3rd Fridays on Franklin”: Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Franklin Road between Jefferson Street and Williamson Road
“Labor Day Parade”: Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- 3rd Street between Church and Campbell Avenues
- Market Street between Campbell and Salem Avenues
- Campbell Avenue between Jefferson Street and Williamson Road. (close at 10:45 a.m.)
“Awful Arthur’s Revive-All 2017”: Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Market Street between Salem and Campbell Avenues
All parking garages will remain accessible.
Valley Metro buses will run on their usual schedules. Trip planning for Valley Metro buses is available at www.valleymetro.com.
Detours will not be established.
Signs & Barricades:
The City of Roanoke will furnish all barricades, signs, cones, etc.
