[ARCHIVED] Construction to Begin on Amtrak Platform

Roanoke, VA - Faulconer Construction will begin construction today on the new Amtrak Platform on Norfolk Avenue. The work is expected to take 300 days to complete. During the project, travel on Norfolk Avenue will be reduced to one-way eastbound traffic, between the Martin Luther King Bridge and Jefferson Street.  Railside Avenue, behind Warehouse Row, will have restrictions to parking within 10 feet of the temporary fenceline to accommodate one-way eastbound thru-traffic, only.  For more information, contact Civil Engineer Pricilla Cygielnik at 853-2035.
