The Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) and its partners launched the Entrepreneur Express: Moving Your Business Forward Program in 2006 in Southwest Virginia. The program has allowed several thousand entrepreneurs through numerous workshops the opportunity to access local, regional, state and federal programs to start and grow their business enterprise. Due to the success in Southwest Virginia, the program has been expanded statewide and has reached numerous Virginians. Today, it is Virginia’s signature business outreach program in each part of the state.
