Roanoke, VA – The City of Roanoke has partnered with NEOGOV, the nation’s largest cloud software for Human Resources in government and education, to allow job seekers to conveniently apply online to numerous positions via roanokeva.gov/jobs. Interested candidates can apply for current vacancies or sign up for new openings that become available.
“Roanoke’s decision to use NEOGOV in its human resources process is just another way we are bringing our local government in line with best practices across the country,” said City Manager Chris Morrill. “This new software will streamline customer service and the level of personal service we offer to both current and potential employees.”
The new software will also make the job search and application process easier for job seekers, who can submit multiple applications electronically. In preparation for the change, the city’s online job board will be temporarily removed on March 17. The “new” job board will launch on March 23.
