ROANOKE, VA – On Saturday March 5th and Sunday March 6th, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, New River Electrical (NRE) will close the westbound lane on Salem Avenue between Wall and Jefferson Street. This work is required to replace the electrical cable lines for Appalachian Power. Area Wide Protection (AWP) will be setting up the work zone and providing flagging as required to control traffic flow in the area. There will be no parking on the south side of Salem Avenue.
• Detour - Alternate Routes: No detour will be established
• Signs & Barricades: AWP will furnish all barricades, signs, cones, etc.
