The City of Roanoke was selected as the first qualifying city in the Healthy Housing Local Action Challenge by the National League of Cities. The City has been designated as the first nationally recognized Healthy Housing Change Agent under this program.
Healthy Homes Roanoke is a public-private collaboration that is focused on improving the health, safety, and comfort of some of the City’s most vulnerable residents through holistic home assessments and housing rehabilitation. The goal is to ensure qualifying City residents receive appropriate home repairs to continue living in a safe environment for years to come.
