Mill Mountain Advisory Board Will Not Meet in May

The regular meeting of the Mill Mountain Advisory Board will not be held in May. The next meeting is scheduled for July 14 at 4 p.m., at Mill Mountain Discovery Center, 2000 L.B. Fishburn Parkway S.W.  The Mill Mountain Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to advise City Council regarding:

  • Appropriate maintenance and improvements of Mill Mountain Park; 
  • Conservation, preservation, or development proposals that may be presented to City Council regarding the conservation easement property that may be permitted pursuant to the terms of the conservation easement; 
  • Amendments that may be proposed to be made to the conservation easement that are presented to Council; and 
  • Proposed development that may be presented to City Council within the excluded property, unless City Council creates an Ad Hoc Committee.
