This year, Roanoke Parks and Recreation will celebrate National "Kids to Parks Day" with a scavenger hunt like no other! This hunt can be completed in any City of Roanoke playground on Saturday, May 15, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Not only will this have kids (and grown-ups!) getting active, learning about their parks, and expressing their creativity, they’ll also have a chance to get a little silly and maybe even win some prizes!
- Using the Goosechase app, teams will have 12 hours to complete as many (or all!) of the missions in the hunt. The game runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday May 15.
- Missions will require you to record a 30-second video or snap a photo using the app. This must be real-time! So, no screen-shots or uploads will be accepted. You can re-submit your entry as many times as you’d like, but whatever is there at 8 p.m. will be your submission for the game.
- All missions are designed to be completed at a City of Roanoke playground.
- Get inspired and keep up with other teams across the City using the newsfeed on the app.
