[ARCHIVED] Solid Waste Collection Schedule Changes for Thanksgiving Week

In observance of the Thanksgiving holidays, the City of Roanoke will close its offices on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26 and 27.  As a result, the Solid Waste Collection schedule for Thanksgiving week will change.

Trash, “A” week recycling, bulk, and brush will be collected as follows:

  • Monday and Tuesday collection on Monday, Nov. 23
  • Wednesday collection on Tuesday, Nov. 24
  • Thursday collection on Wednesday, Nov. 25

Leaf collection will not occur on Thanksgiving week. More details are available at roanokeva.gov/holiday or call 853-2000, Option 1.
