ROANOKE, VA - There will be several street closures beginning on Friday, March 13th due to events this weekend.
"St. Patrick’s Day Parade" (Saturday, 3/14/20) 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the following streets will be closed due to the "St. Patrick’s Day Parade" event.
- Jefferson Street, between Salem Avenue and Williamson Road
- Campbell Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- NOTE: Campbell Avenue, between Jefferson Street and Williamson Road (Will remain closed until 2:00 PM)
- Franklin Road, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- Note: Will close at 6:00 AM
- Elm Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
- Albemarle Avenue, between 1st Street and Williamson Road
"Shamrock Festival & Corned Beef Celtic Celebration" (Saturday, 3/14/20) 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the following streets will be closed due to the "Shamrock Festival" event:
- Salem Avenue, between Williamson Road and Jefferson Street
- Market Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
- Wall Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
- Jefferson Street, between Salem Avenue and Campbell Avenue
"Shamrock Hill 5K Run" (Saturday, 3/14/20) 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the following streets will be closed due to the "Shamrock Hill 5K & 10K Run" event:
- Shenandoah Avenue westbound, between Williamson Rd and 15th St NW
- Centre Avenue eastbound, between 12th St NW and 15th St NW
- Gainsboro Road southbound, between Orange Avenue and Loudon Avenue
- Henry Street southbound, between Wells Avenue and Centre Avenue
- Loudon Avenue, between Gainsboro Road and Henry Street
- Jefferson Street, between Patton Avenue and Shenandoah Avenue
"Martin’s St. Patrick’s Street Party" (Friday, 3/13/20 and Saturday, 3/14/20)
- Luck Avenue, between 1st St SW and 2nd St SW - 5:00 PM Friday until 12:00 AM Sunday
- 1st St, between Church Avenue and Franklin Rd - 6:00 AM Saturday until 12:00 AM Sunday
"Front Row St. Patrick’s Day Event" (Saturday, 3/14/20)
- NO STREET CLOSED (ONLY SIDEWALK CLOSURE)
"202 Social House St. Pats Block Party" (Saturday, 3/14/20) 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM, the following streets will be closed:
- Market Street, between Kirk Avenue and Campbell Avenue
"Sidewinders Saint Patrick’s Celebration" (Saturday, 3/14/20)
- NO STREET CLOSED (ONLY SIDEWALK CLOSURE)
