Roanoke, VA - On Friday, Dec. 4, several streets will be closed from 3 to 8 p.m. due to the "City of Roanoke Christmas Tree Lighting" event. The following streets will be closed:
- Salem Avenue, between Williamson Road and Jefferson Street
- Market Street, between Salem Avenue and Norfolk Avenue
On Friday, Dec. 4, several streets will be closed from 3 to 10 p.m. due to the "The Roanoke Times Dickens of a Christmas" event. The following streets will be closed:
- Market Street, between Salem Avenue and
Campbell Avenue
- Wall Street, between Salem Avenue and
Campbell Avenue
- Market Street, between Campbell Avenue and Church Avenue
- Church Avenue closed to through traffic, between Williamson Road and Luck Avenue.
- Kirk Avenue, between Jefferson Street and Market Street
- From 5:30 to 10 p.m., Campbell Avenue, between Williamson Road and the entrance of the Center in the Square Garage will be closed.
Due to these events, on-street parking may be temporarily restricted.
The following parking garages will be accessible from Jefferson Street:
- The Center in the Square Garage
- The Market Garage
- The Tower Garage
All other parking garages and parking lots will remain accessible throughout these events.
