[ARCHIVED] City to Darken Star in Memory of Roy Kinsey

Roanoke, VA – To honor the memory of Roy C. Kinsey, Jr., one of the creators of the Star on Mill Mountain, the City of Roanoke will darken the Star on Saturday, Dec. 5. The family of Mr. Kinsey will gather at the Star at 8 p.m., when a wreath will be laid beneath the Star and the lights on the Star will be turned off for the evening.
