Blessed are those that mourn, for they will be comforted
Matthew 5:4 – Holy Bible New International Version
Today, with this post, I want to acknowledge and mourn the 13 most recent service members who lost their lives in Afghanistan in service to each of us. They join nearly 2,500 others who met that same fate beginning with Sargent First Class Nathan Chapman in the early days of 2002. May they all rest in peace and may their families find comfort in their mourning.
