No Need to Speed

Melrose Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project Begins

The City of Roanoke has executed a contract with E.C. Pace Company, Inc. to construct the Melrose Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project. Construction work will begin July 19, 2021, and will be performed in the 2200 and 2300 blocks of Melrose Avenue. Learn more here

July Meeting Scheduled for Southeast Action Forum, Belmont-Fallon Target Area Stakeholders

Roanoke Partners with NLC to Help Build Equitable Economic Mobility for All Roanoke Residents

The City of Roanoke announces its selection to the Equitable Economic Mobility Initiative (EEMI), a 15-month technical assistance and grant project led by the National League of Cities (NLC) aimed at boosting economic mobility for residents while addressing long-standing racial inequalities.
