Treasurer, Commissioner of Revenue Offices Re-open to Public
The City Treasurer's Office and Commissioner of the Revenue Office will re-open to the general public on Monday, June 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. DMV Select services will not be available. Citizens may access the Municipal Building lobby using the Church Avenue entrance, after checking in at the gray tent. Those who have mobility issues are asked to enter on the 2nd Street side of the building, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. City Invites Applications for Star City Strong Recovery Fund Task Force
At its June 1 meeting, Roanoke City Council established a Task Force to make recommendations to Council regarding the use of the Star City Strong Recovery Fund. City residents interested in serving on the Task Force are asked to complete an application, which can be found on the City’s website and submit it no later than 5 p.m. on June 11. Citizen Input Invited on Conceptual Design for Transit Transfer Station
Conceptual design elements for a new Transit Transfer Center are now are now available for viewing. Click this link to see conceptual renderings of the new facility. Community members are invited to provide comments on the illustrations by sending the City an email with the subject line: ROANOKE TRANSIT TRANSFER STATION.
