Citizens Invited to Review TMDL Action Plans

The City of Roanoke is required under the Municipal Stormwater Sewer System (MS4) Permit to create a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) to reduce pollutant loads in impaired water bodies. The Sediment and Bacteria TMDL Action Plan and PCB TMDL Action Plan outline what the City will do over the next five years of the permit cycle to reduce pollutants such as PCBs, sediment, and bacteria from entering our waterways. Citizens are invited to take a look, make suggestions, and provide feedback. This is your opportunity to be part of the solution and leave a Clean Water Legacy. Use this link to review the Action Plans: Click on "2018-2023 City of Roanoke PCB TMDL Action Plan - 2020 Revision" or "2018-2023 City of Roanoke Sediment and Bacteria TMDL Action Plan - 2020 Revision."
