Project Management & Project Review: Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
The City of Roanoke utilizes a formal project management process for executing and managing IT projects. The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is the overall process of developing and deploying infromation systems using an eight phase process from initiation through deployment and on-going support. The City utilizes an Information Technology Committee as the steering committee responsible for establishing IT policies, practices, and strategies for the organization.
