Improves the lives of low-income families in need by providing affordable quality homes in partnership with homeowners and volunteers for the enhancement of the community. Habitat for Humanity serves families whose annual income falls between 24 and 50% of the Roanoke Median Family Income. Qualified families are accepted into the program based on their willingness to partner, need and ability to pay. Participants are provided with a program of family education and support to prepare them for homeownership.
