Recording Fees
Every document in need of a recording has its own individual recording fee. The Supreme Court of Virginia provides a Circuit Court Deed Calculation page to assist users with determining recording costs to be recorded in the individual Circuit Courts of Virginia. If for any reason you are having any difficulty using this website please feel free to contact our Deed Desk directly at 540-853-6709.
Cover Sheets
The Roanoke City Circuit Court requires Virginia Land Records Cover Sheet (VLRCS) with bar codes for the recording of any land records. Cover sheets can be created on the deed calculation page. When accessing the cover sheet you will need to choose the court in which you are recording from a drop down box; a link will appear to the right to open the cover sheet generator. You may access the Cover sheets for the land records HERE.
