The Greater Oakland Neighbors Group was founded by several neighbors in 2020. The neighborhood was historically named CONNIISTONE during the late 1920s. Our architecture varies from 1920s bungalows to 1930s foursquares 1940s colonials and cape cods and even examples from the Atomic Era. Our motto is "Taking our neighborhood back while carrying it forward."  We strive to be the neighborhood that people WANT to live in.
