Investigation Types
Complaints by any person to focus Department attention toward any action or inaction by an employee of the Department which the complainant considers to be illegal, contrary to proper procedure or conduct, or is in any manner prejudicial to that person, the Department or the community as a whole.
Internal Investigations
Allegations of criminal acts, use of deadly force, excessive use of force or serious misconduct by any employee of the Department.
