Purpose: To establish or operate an airport, or landing field, for the City of Roanoke and Roanoke County.
NOTE: See Resolution No. 28560, adopted by Roanoke City Council on March 9, 1987.
Ordinance No. 41740-060120 ratified the City of Salem to join the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission, and in doing so the City of Roanoke gained one additional representative on the Commission, inasmuch as the City of Roanoke must always appoint and maintain a majority of Commissioners.
