Project Description:
The project consists of constructing the final phase of the proposed ‘Bridge the Gap’ segment of the Roanoke River Greenway system which includes approximately 1.7 miles of paved trail (10’ wide) and two aerial bridge crossings starting at the western end at Bridge Street and terminating at the eastern end of Aerial Way Drive. This segment will complete the Roanoke River Greenway network within the limits of the City of Roanoke providing a critical connection to the regional greenway system.
