About the Forum
The Loudon-Melrose Neighborhood Forum, Inc.'s boundaries are 14th Street NW to the east, 24th Street NW to the west, Orange Avenue NW to the north and the railroad tracks to the south. The neighborhood includes businesses, churches, daycare centers, banks, a grocery store and a park.

The Loudon-Melrose neighborhood is one of several early suburbs of the city that developed after streetcar lines were constructed and downtown and the inner rung of neighborhoods began to build out. Most of the houses in Loudon-Melrose date to the 1920s.
