Council-Appointed Vacancies

The following list of vacancies is updated, if necessary, after each City Council meeting.

Roanoke City Council appoints members to approximately 64
authorities, boards, commissions and committees..

As of February 6, 2012, vacancies exist on the following bodies:

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board - one vacancy
Fair Housing Board - two vacancies
Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center Commission - one vacancy
Roanoke City School Board - three vacancies
Towing Advisory Board - one vacancy (citizen at large)

Residents of the City of Roanoke are encouraged to apply for appointment.
