Trojan Dog Artwork to Be Reinstalled

Roanoke, VA -- Trojan Dog by local artist Ann Glover will return to
his perch outside Fire Station No. 7 this Saturday, Nov. 17, as part
of the Grandin Road Holiday Parade which begins at 11 am. He will
accompany Santa and be towed by the Fire-EMS Department. He will then
be installed at his permanent location. The first Trojan Dog, meant
to be temporary, was made of wood. This dog was produced locally by
4DD Design and will be part of the permanent public art collection.
This artwork is being purchased as part of the city's Percent for Art
Program.
