| Roanoke Fire-EMS Responds to Beverly Rd. Fire |

On Sunday, January 6, 2013, Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a structure fire at 2451 Beverly Rd. The call was received in the E-911 Center at approximately 10:04pm and was under control by 10:39pm. Four engines, 2 ladder trucks, 1 medic unit, 2 Battalion Chiefs, and the Investigation Unit responded for a total of 28 personnel on scene.
When crews arrived they found smoke and flames showing from the roof. All 3 occupants of the home and their pets made it out safely. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are approximately $100,000. |
