CITY OF ROANOKE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
NOTICE OF VACANCY
The City of Roanoke invites applications for appointment to the City of Roanoke Board of Zoning Appeals. Those persons appointed are required to obtain certification through the Virginia Certified Board of Zoning Appeals Program, within one year of the date of appointment. A stipend of $100.00 per month is paid to members of the Board. Only Roanoke City residents are eligible to apply.
Application for appointment is available on the City of Roanoke’s web page at www.roanokeva.gov, or may be obtained by contacting the City Clerk’s Office, Suite 456, Noel C. Taylor Municipal Building, 215 Church Avenue, S. W., telephone (540) 853-2541, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.
