General Legal Information Resources
1. Cornell’s Legal Information Institute- Provides links to the constitution, codes, regulations, and legislative information for the federal government as well as all fifty states. Also provides links to federal and state judicial decisions, Federal court rules, and Uniform laws.
2. Cornell Legal Research Encyclopedia- This web page provides basic information regarding legal issues and links to more authoritative sources organized by topic.
3. American Bar Association Law Info.org- This web page by the American Bar Association provides useful information regarding many important legal topics, including family law and workplace law.
4. HierosGamos the Worldwide Legal Directory- Hieros Gamos is a legal directory that provides links to many legal topics. It is particularly useful for international legal questions and/or finding attorneys in foreign countries.

5. Internet Legal Research Group- This is a general legal research web site. It has a useful list of law journals available on the internet.
6. The Virtual Chase- This web site provides information and strategies for using legal and general information sources. There are guides for most effectively using search engines, subject oriented guides for performing legal research, and tips for using the internet and legal resources more effectively.
7. Findlaw- Useful all purpose legal information web site. Provides links to Federal and State statutory and case information, lawyer directories, and tools such as forms and contracts.
8. Nolo Legal Dictionaries/Glossary and Law.com Dictionary- Two general legal dictionary/glossaries that define legal terms and provide links to information about legal topics.
9. Zimmerman’s Research Guide- A useful guide of links for legal and general web sites that are helpful for research, organized by topic.
