Cross Connection Program Procedures:
As of July 1, 2008 the City of Roanoke will be requiring the initial inspection of Cross Connection and backflow devices to be certified by 3rd party agencies. These agencies are required to be licensed by DPOR and have a current city business license.

Cross Connection Certification
The cost of new backflow is $51.00. The cost of renewal is $35.70.
This inspection must be performed before the building final can be approved.
The certification must be signed and submitted along with a signed affidavit to complete the project.
