If you own inactive or under used commercial or industrial properties with real or perceived environmental issues, you may be eligible for participation in the City of Roanoke's Brownfields Program.

Please complete and submit the following form if you are interested in having someone contact you to discuss your property in detail. Your completion of this form does not obligate your participation in the City of Roanoke's Brownfield Program.

Once a property is assessed the city can assist in evaluating the property for redevelopment.

Note: This program is designed to work with property owners to redevelop sites in a responsible manner, NOT as an enforcement program to reprimand owners. The city will work with property owners and DEQ (Department of Environmental Quality) towards amnesty provisions.
