Instructions

The following instructions apply to all entries under Schedules 1 & 2:

For a business with a single investment for any year, enter the original cost directly into the input box and the estimated tax will automatically be calculated.

For a business with multiple investments for any year, use the calculator function provided to add all of your business' personal property costs. The calculator function is activated by clicking on the calculator icon located directly to the right of the input box.

The calculator functions as most other calculators. Notice you can use your mouse, your top row number keys or the keyboard number pad to enter costs. Be sure to enter a plus sign between costs. Press the "Enter" key or the "Equal" sign to finish. The total will automatically appear in the input box and your estimated tax will appear in the Projected Tax section on the far right of the form. 

Note:

The Personal Property And Machinery & Tools Tax section of the page provides a Total Tax of Property area to show the sum of all entries. This area is located directly above Schedule 3 on the page.

To see the total of all of your business tax estimates, scroll down to the "Grand Total Tax" section. 

To print the form, click on "Print This Form" located in the "Grand Total Tax" section of the form.  

To reset the whole form, click on "Reset Form" located in the "Grand Total Tax" section of the form.
