(20+) We have an exciting week of water adventures all along the Florida Coast! Exploring the Florida Keys by kayak one day and snorkeling the coral reefs the next all while relaxing in the sun on a winter day makes for a perfect get-a-way. Travel with us to that golden chain of islands at the tip of Florida. We'll explore natural wonders like Indian Key and Lignumvitae Island/Botanical Gardens finding secluded bays, beaches, mangrove forests and clear water while observing porpoise, sea turtles and birds of every description. The days we're not kayaking, we'll be snorkeling secluded coral reefs and beaches that few people ever hear of, much less see. We'll be taking beginner level trips to Cheeca Rocks and Alligator Reef Lighthouse where tropical fish, barracuda, moray eels and clownfish live in transparent ocean waters. We'll also visit Key West and enjoy the sites and sounds of this historic Florida village. This small group expedition is designed for adults who enjoy the outdoors and want to do it comfortably as you'll be roughing it easily with the resort's beach just steps from your room. Fee includes all activities, lodging, breakfasts, transportation, equipment, and leadership. Deadline to register is Jan. 15, 2009. $1,495
