The City of Roanoke is committed to providing access to city facilities to all people, regardless of physical ability. City staff will make reasonable efforts to accommodate individuals with disabilities. If you need an accommodation to participate in a meeting or event, please contact the department that announced the meeting. Please try to make your request at least two days in advance of the meeting so that staff has time to make appropriate arrangements.
Meetings of Roanoke City Council are held in an ADA-compliant meeting room with wheelchair clearance, a standing-height and seated-height podiums, and a closed-captioned television monitor.
