(18+) Meet the mouse, navigate the net, introduction to Microsoft, introduction to email. This course is for individuals looking to get in the world of computers. We discuss, use and work with programs, folders, and documents, surf the net, learn how to send and receive emails, organize mail, attach files, etc.

NEW Memoirs on Mondays
(18+) This initiative encompasses two projects: The Neighborhoods History Project and the Veterans History Project. The Neighborhoods History Project collects stories of long-time city residents from the various neighborhoods in the City of Roanoke. The Veterans History Project, administered through the Library of Congress, collects stories of war-time veterans, WWII to present, and helpers on the home front.

Historic Old Southwest is celebrating its 29th year of the tour and Mountain View Center. The Fishburn Home will open from 5— 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 and 1— 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7. You may tour Mountain View, see its beautiful decorations, listen to live music and enjoy light refreshments. Admission is included in the Parlor Tour booklet.
