Vision 2001-2020, the City of Roanoke’s Comprehensive Plan, is the product of an extensive collaborative planning process involving a citizens’ advisory committee, citizen-based task teams, City staff, consultants, the Planning Commission, City Council, and the public at-large. More than 2,000 people participated in the process.
On August 20, 2001, City Council unanimously adopted Vision 2001-2020 as the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
