Northwest Neighborhood Environmental Organization (NNEO)


Northwest Neighborhood Environmental Organization includes the area within the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks to the south, Moorman Avenue to the north, Fifth Street to the east and 14th Street to the west.This area of the City possesses a unique character and history and is known as the Gilmer neighborhood. Cultural resources in the neighborhood include many churches, the historic City Fire Station Number 5, Loudon Park, and the former Hunton Life Saving Crew building.
