Wilmont Neighborhood Partnership


The Wilmont Neighborhood Partnership location is northwest of downtown with boundaries formed by 36th Street NW, Westside Boulevard NW, Shenandoah Avenue NW and the Salem Turnpike. Wilmont, a neighborhood with both traditional and suburban characteristics, developed between 1920 and 1960. It contains single family homes, multifamily apartment complexes and commercial/industrial areas. The neighborhood includes an elementary school and an 11 acre park, and its close proximity to major arterials make for easy access to downtown, Valley View Mall, and other neighborhoods and services.
